SYNOPSIS

 

This film explores the life of Hiroshi ‘Hiro’ Hoshizaki,
a retired grandfather of six, who was imprisoned in a
Japanese internment camp during his adolescence.
As we follow Hiroshi on his own journey to confront the
events and memories of his past, we learn of
his experiences while imprisoned at the Heart Mountain
Relocation Center and the traumatic repercussions
this experience has had on him, and his family.
